Everything is dual. Darkness, light. Happy, sad. Plenty, scarce. Hot, cold. We go through both to relish the other. Up, down. Good, evil. Girl, boy. War, peace. We relate to both to learn from the other. Work, rest. Be active, be still. Courage, fear…. Life, death. We must have both to accept the other. Everything is dual. There cannot be one without the other. The sooner we own this, the fuller we live.
